Pledge to be Car Free!
The NCBC and our sponsers would like to thank those who celebrated international "Car Free Day" on September 22, 2008. This public engagemant campaign focused on building awareness around the positive benefits that come from using alternative transportation modes and reducing our overall use and dependency on the automobile. This campaign sought to engage all levels of government, businesses and the public in looking at the impact reducing our car use on a regular basis will have on our health, our environment and our overall quality of life.
